Senior Developer – UI

The Role:
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code
- Proactively designing & implementing innovative applications using React.js
- Work with team on new ideas, best practices and UI strategies
- Identify and solve bottlenecks and bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Care about quality and delivering high-quality code, with various levels of automated tests and code quality tools
- Support with Scrum / Agile software development approach (e.g., sprint, retros, planning, pointing, grooming, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, at least 5 years of professional experience with web-enabled commercial application development
- Solid Object-Oriented design and development skills
- Substantial experience with ReactJs
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Hands-on experience with unit/integration tests using: jest, mocha, nock, chai
- Experience with reactive programming parading (Redux / MobX / etc);
- Some familiarity with the AWS ecosystem
- Utilizing the latest JS features with TypeScript or Babel
- Focus on quality and simplicity
- Analytical thinking, ability to work in a team, attention to detail
- A Bachelors degree is required
